Lat Saturday our family went to Sanger to look for houses for rent. We have been to Sanger many times to look but never felt the Lords peace about any of the possibilities. But this Saturday was different. We stopped and prayed that the Lord would guide us and He immediately did. He is so good! We found a condo/town house (3 bedrooms!) and for the perfect amount for our budget. We move in tomorrow! We can't wait! I'll post pictures of our new place as soon as I get unpacked and after my Sister Nina helps me decorate.
These pictures were taken last Saturday night out in Sanger. Oh did I mention I live like a hop, skip and jump away from Angela (she's been my best friend since 7th grade). Love it!!!

Ephesians 4:29-32

29)Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. 30)And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31)Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32)Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
Ephesians 4:29-32 (NIV)

When I read this verse today I immediately felt like a failure because I know I'm guilty of these sins, but then the Lord remind me of Philippians 1:6 - being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. He's not done with me yet! I'm a work in progress. I'm also encouraged by the scripture that says - Through the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassion's fail not. They are new every morning; (Lamentations 3:22-23). What an awesome God we serve!
*Lord help us as believers to live out Ephesians 4:29-32. Amen!

The Valley

There are only a few positive things the Valley is know for #1. being Agriculture (Oranges and Cattle) #2 the fact that you are only about a hour or so away from the Mountains. I thought this view was cool because it captured the best of both worlds, plus good ole California palm trees. If you look in the background of the picture below you can see the snow capt mountains. It was beautiful! These pictures don't do it justice, but they give you the idea.

I snapped these pictures this Saturday while we taking a leisurely drive out passed Sanger.

Nerf War

This Monday Night was Trenton's turn to go hang out with Daddy (just the two of them). We call it date night. John took Trenton to McDonald's then they went out shopping. Trenton had some money left over from his birthday so Daddy took him shopping. He knew exactly what he wanted...a Nerf Gun (like his big Brother Jacob has). He also got some bullets that fit into another Nerf Gun we had so needless to say - Nerf War was so on at our house! As soon as the boys got their guns all geared up John and Papa turned into big kids. The boys (that includes Papa and John) had so much fun shooting each other. Boys are so weird! It was great to hear them all laughing together. Those are priceless memories I know the boys will hold on to forever. I think we all will.

Pslams 25

Psalm 25 (New King James Version)
A Psalm of David.
1 To You, O LORD, I lift up my soul.
2 O my God, I trust in You; Let me not be ashamed; Let not my enemies triumph over me.
3 Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed; Let those be ashamed who deal treacherously without cause.
4 Show me Your ways, O LORD; Teach me Your paths.
5 Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation;
On You I wait all the day.
6 Remember, O LORD, Your tender mercies and Your lovingkindnesses, For they are from of old.
7 Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions; According to Your mercy remember me, or Your goodness’ sake, O LORD.
8 Good and upright is the LORD; Therefore He teaches sinners in the way.
9 The humble He guides in justice, And the humble He teaches His way.
10 All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth, To such as keep His covenant and His testimonies.
11 For Your name’s sake, O LORD, Pardon my iniquity, for it is great.
12 Who is the man that fears the LORD? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses.
13 He himself shall dwell in prosperity, And his descendants shall inherit the earth.
14 The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant.
15 My eyes are ever toward the LORD, For He shall pluck my feet out of the net.
16 Turn Yourself to me, and have mercy on me, or I am desolate and afflicted.
17 The troubles of my heart have enlarged; Bring me out of my distresses!
18 Look on my affliction and my pain, And forgive all my sins.
19 Consider my enemies, for they are many; And they hate me with cruel hatred.
20 Keep my soul, and deliver me; Let me not be ashamed, for I put my trust in You.
21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, For I wait for You.
22 Redeem Israel, O God, Out of all their troubles!
