9 year Anniversary

Nine years...can you believe it!? I have been married to the most amazing man alive for 9 years now. I am truly a blessed lady. We celebrated our special evening with our children (eating pizza, watching a movie and eating ice cream). First John came home with flowers and a balloon, Jacob yelled for me to come down stairs, he said "Mommy your gonna want to come down stairs and see this" (with a huge grin on his face). He kinda gave it away but it was cute. I got John a workout bench with weights. Although I think he was kinda wondering why I got him a work out bench ....with a chic on the front of the box...oops! But my favorite gift of all is that after 9 years of marriage and after having three children my husband still loves me. I look forward to each year because I learn that I love him more with every year that passes (didn't know that could happen).
Well, I am looking forward to Friday night. John is taking me out to dinner and a movie while Mel and Curtis watch our kidos overnight..whooo! I am mean.... Boy am I going to miss them. Wow...I may even get to sleep in...I wonder what that is like, I can't remeber.
Well it is been a great 9 years married to John-Boat. I thank God that I got to spend another year with My Husband. I am looking forward to many many more. That is about sums it up. Peath out, Brandi

Christmas has left us

Today is Thursday and I am blogging....yeah for me! My John Boat taught me how and I am so proud. Well Christmas has come and gone and all the family is gone with it. It was so hard to see them go but I try not to dwell on it. I know we will see them again. Like the saying goes..This is not goodbye, it is see you next time. It was a great 2 1/2 weeks for us at the Lanier home. But now it is down to the nitty gritty....getting the house back in order. Well this has been fun, but I got to catch some shut eye.
Peath out,
H (for - Homemaker)
