My Teenager

My Sweet Bundle of Joy!Jacobs Best Bud Micah. They have been friends since the nursery at Calvary Chapel Fresno The hair
He wants to be chef. He is good at it already.
My little boy... is not so little anymore.

Brothers ~ what a special bond they have. I hope that last forever.
13 years ago I gave birth to a perfect baby boy - Jacob R. Lanier.

It's hard to believe that it was 13 years ago. Where does time go? That cold winter day was one of the greatest days of my life. John and I were so excited to be parents, and Jacob made our life busy and fun. Jacob was truly a gift from God. He was the cutest baby and he brought so much joy to our entire family. His Aunties were in love with him. I think I saw my sisters and Angela more that first year then all our years combined. He stole all of our hearts from day one.

Jacob was, and still is full of life.

He has kept me on my toes since he was first born. We have grown up together. I was just 19 when I had him. It's been an amazing, trying, stretching of faith, fun 13 years.

I can't wait to see what God has in store for his teen years.

I pray that he grows up to be just like his daddy -

a hard worker, loyal, loving, humble and most important a heart for Jesus.

I pray that he won't have to go down rough roads, just to learn simple lessons.

I pray that his heart for Missions never dies, but only grows deeper.

I pray that we will always have a special bond, no matter what life throws us.

I pray that he will find an amazing Godly wife,

that will love him, support, and respect him, and pray for him every day.

1 Sam 1:27 ~
I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him.
